Delete Your Popqoq Account

This page allows users of the Popqoq Digital Business Card app to request the permanent deletion of their account and associated personal data.

Delete Your Account from the Popqoq App

​

You can delete your account directly from the Popqoq app:

1. Open the Popqoq app.

2. Sign in to your account.

3. Go to Settings.

4. Select Delete Account.

5. Review the information displayed and confirm the deletion.

Once confirmed, your account deletion cannot be undone.

Request Account Deletion from This Website

​

If you cannot access the Popqoq app, you may submit an account deletion request using the form on this page.

Please provide:

• The email address associated with your Popqoq account.

• Your Popqoq username, if available.

• Any additional information that may help us identify your account.

For your protection, we may send a verification message to the email address associated with your account. We will not delete an account until we can reasonably verify that the request came from the account owner.

Never send us your password, Google credentials, complete activation code, payment information, or other sensitive login information.

Information Deleted with Your Account

When your verified account deletion request is processed, the personal information associated with your Popqoq account will be permanently deleted or anonymized, as applicable. This may include:

• Your Popqoq account and profile.

• Your published digital business card.

• Your name, contact information, company information, and professional details.

• Uploaded profile photos, logos, banners, and other card images.

• Social links, contact links, custom links, and card customizations.

• Saved contacts and related information associated with your account.

• Analytics associated with your digital card, where applicable.

• Integration settings, including saved webhook configurations.

• Other account preferences and user-generated content associated with your Popqoq account.

Information We May Retain

​

Certain limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or regulatory purposes. These records may include:

• Transaction records related to purchases of physical Popqoq products.

• Records required for tax, accounting, refund, or legal compliance.

• Limited activation-code records used to prevent fraud, unauthorized reuse, or duplicate activation.

• Security records necessary to investigate misuse or protect Popqoq and its users.

Any retained information will remain protected and will not be used for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

What Happens After Account Deletion?

​

After your account is deleted:

• You will no longer be able to sign in to the deleted Popqoq account.

• Your public digital business card will no longer be available.

• NFC devices and QR codes connected to the deleted card may stop opening your card.

• Your card content and account settings cannot be recovered.

• Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed through Google Play or the Apple App Store.

If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it separately through the store where you purchased it.

Deletion of an account may not automatically make a previously redeemed device activation code available for reuse. Contact Popqoq Support before deleting your account if you intend to transfer or reactivate a physical Popqoq device.

Processing Time

​

Requests submitted through this page are generally reviewed and processed within seven business days after ownership of the account has been verified.

In some circumstances, we may need additional information to verify your identity or locate the correct account. We will contact you using the email address provided with your request.
